10,000 years in the future, the world has become a completely different place. Monsters roam freely on earth, and people are equipped with high-tech weapons, along with cybernetic horses, living a lowly and earthly life more suited to the past centuries. The story focuses on a small village that is under attack by monsters and under the tyrannical rule of Count "Magnus Lee", a powerful vampire who has ruled over the land for thousands of years. When a young girl is bitten by the Count, she becomes his new plaything, and she asks a wandering stranger (D) for help. It turns out that D is one of the world's most skilled vampire hunters, and he decides to destroy Magnus Lee's countless minions and put an end to the Count's rule.
